Fernando Poe, Jr. (August 20, 1939 – December 14, 2004), formally known as Ronald Allan Kelley-Poe and colloquially known as FPJ and Da King, was a Filipino actor and later politician, having run an unsuccessful bid for President of the Philippines in the 2004 presidential elections against the popular and incumbent Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.
