Eleandre Basino Buendía, born November 2, 1970 is well-known in the Philippine music scene industry. Ely Buendia is best known as guitarist and lead vocals in the Pinoy rock band, The Eraserheads. As one-fourth of the group Eraserheads, he greatly contributed to the band when it came to songwriting, and to the growth of Pinoy rock in the 90s. He is presently the guitarist and lead vocalist of the band Pupil.
