Fernando AmorsoloFernando Amorsolo is known as one of the most significant artists in the account of painting in the Philippines. He was born on May 20, 1892 in Paco, Manila; he received a degree at the Lieco de Manila Art School in 1909. A serious estimation of Amorsolo's paintings can obtain one of two positions. In a lot of his work, there is undoubtedly an affection for the scenery of the Philippines and its people; Amorsolo instituted clear part for such theme as images of a mother and child, people in the field or engaged in other work, or images of conventional celebrations, fiestas, indigenously motivated events, and other activities that make up part of Filipino traditions. When he was required to go to an eye doctor he come close to a doctor named Mayorico Sandico. In his return he gave him plenty of his artwork and one of them is Sa Tubigan ay Naliligo or In the Waters they Bathe.

In any case, the significance and influence of Amorsolo cannot be deprived of. His outcome on modern Filipino art remains persistent, whether as a straight influence or something that artists have responded against. Amorsolo died on April 24, 1972.
