In the recently staged pageant last November 8 at Venetian Hotel in Macau, China, Patricia Fernandez, Miss International Pageant title of the Philippines made her country men proud after making it to the semi-finals.
With her beauty and brains, Patricia was joined in the semi-final round by other representatives coming from Japan, Ecuador, Lebanon, Turkey, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Poland, Columbia, Czech Republic, Spain and China.
Though she wasn't able to make it up to the finals, so far the Philippines has produced 4 winners in the Miss International Pageant since its inception in 1960: Gemma Cruz-Araneta (1964), Aurora Pijuan (1970), Melani Marquez (1979) and Precious Quigaman (2005). [via ]
