Quintín Paredes (September 9, 1884-January 30, 1973) was a Resident Commissioner from the Commonwealth of the Philippines. He was born in Bangued, Abra, Philippines. He graduated from the law school of Manila in 1907. He was admitted to the bar the same year and practiced in Manila. He was appointed fourth prosecuting attorney on July 9, 1908, first prosecuting attorney on November 1, 1913, and served until March 1, 1917. He later served on the faculty and became dean of the law school of Manila from 1913 to 1917. He served as solicitor general in 1917 and 1918, as attorney general 1918-1920, and as secretary of justice in 1920 and 1921.Parades was a member of the first parliamentary mission to the United States in 1919. He resumed the practice of law in Manila two years later. |
