The better identified as apl.de.ap, a hip hop musician and member of the The Black Eyed Peas. Allan Pineda Lindo born on November 28, 1974 in the Barangay of Sapangbato, Angeles City, Pampanga, Philippines. Her mother is a Filipina and has an African-American father.
Allan is the key composer of Black Eyed Peas. His father was a U.S. serviceman assigned close to Clark Air Base; his father abandoned them following his birth. While her mother Christina Pineda, raised him and his four brothers and two sisters on her sole hardship.
Apl’s early music inspirations are Stevie Wonder, The Eagles, The Beatles and the well-known Filipino rock/folk band, Asin. Hip-hop soon came into his life via the break dancing, I would ride jeepney to my way to Angeles City, that I would saw kids at the corner doing break-dancing and I would say I want to do that also.
